Clermont Auvergne University welcomes nearly 40,000 students each year, including 5,500 international students, thanks to a high-quality, coherent, diverse, and multidisciplinary range of programs, spread across 5 main fields:

  • Arts, Languages, Humanities, and social sciences
  • Law, Economics and Management
  • Life sciences, Health, Environment
  • Fundamental sciences

UCA's training offer provides a wide range of programs in the Auvergne region, reflecting the diversity and complementarity of academic fields, catering to the diverse personal and professional projects of students.

The university currently has 20 UFR, schools, institutes et 5 doctoral schools. It offers more than18 DUT, 27 general Bachelor's degrees, 50 professional Bachelor's degrees, 54 Master's programs, 7 engineering degrees, 4 health fields and 3 paramedical programs.

The various programs offered by UCA follow the European LMD (Bachelor’s, Master’s, Doctorate) system through the use of ECTS credits. These degrees are therefore nationally recognized and internationally acknowledged. Additionally, the university addresses more specific needs by awarding university diplomas (DU) and certificates. Finally, it offers preparation courses for competitive exams.
